Podcast recording and editing (U16: P5, P6, M2)

Learning Outcome 3 (U16):   Be able to record, edit and review sound elements: P5 (U16): Record the different sound elements This is me using my phone, to record all the narration parts of the podcast. I chose to use my phone as its lightweight and portable, and would allow me to record the necessary audio, at each location I was going. As well as this, it also recorded audio to a high level, meaning that I could gain the best results, with no unnecessary hold ups, due to no access to a microphone. I added both the Narration and Delay effects on to my audios. This gives the podcast a layered listening experience, as well as adapting the audio, in order to give me the specific effect on the audience I want too. Many factors have led to this drastic rise of knife crime in the UK; with people placing a large amount of the blame on drill music. But is this fair? Drill music has long been an ‘escape goat’ of the recent rise of knife crime. But does it actually contribute to as much knife crime as people like to believe? In 2014/15, recorded knife crime was at 25,000, rising to 44,000 in the latest records. This is the largest number of recorded knife crime on records.
